Second Saturdays at Glendale Shoals
Join our good friends at the Goodall Center on the Second Saturday of each month to participate in a volunteer project at Glendale Shoals! We'll pick a different project to work on each month.
Where: The Goodall Environmental Studies Center (351 Broadway St, Glendale, SC)
When: 2nd Saturday of each month, 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
What to Bring: Drinking water. A good attitude!
Grab your friends for a self-guided Litter Clean-Up on one of our trails. SPACE has partnered with our friends at Keep One Spartanburg Beautiful to provide the tools for the job, such as trash bags, gloves, and litter pickers. You can rent them for free from SPACE, just email Deb to get started.
We envision a Spartanburg community with natural resources and open spaces that are shared and enjoyed by people and wildlife today and for generations to come.
We work with private landowners and partner agencies to conserve land through voluntary conservation easements and currently protect over 7,000 acres in our community.
We work to provide access to green spaces for both people and wildlife. Our protected properties include riparian buffers, natural lands, wildlife habitat, family farms, historic/scenic viewsheds, and publicly accessible greenspaces.
